Bob Owen
Bob is a spellbinding motivational speaker and gifted writer. He has a very
unique way of connecting with young people. He recently retired from a teaching
position in the Michigan Public Schools. For thirty-one years he taught his students
a set of success principles in conjunction with the book learning that also went on
in his classroom.
In June of 2006 when he left teaching he did so with a commitment to continue to work to bring what his former students labeled; "The Twelve Simple Truths", to students around the country. Speaking in school assemblies about the contents of his recently published book, "Kids, Success is a Decision" Bob is living his dream of sharing with others the secrets of living a happy and successful life.
Bob grew up in Algonac, Michigan where success followed him onto the athletic fields and courts of his youth. Bob attended both Ferris State University and Oakland University as an undergraduate and lettered in both football and baseball. He currently resides in Sandusky, Michigan. He and his lovely wife Kris have raised four children and are now the proud grandparents of four grandchildren!
